This apartment complex recently contracted with a local towing company called RW Towing or Roseville Towing. They have placed some signs that are not visible to the first comers or even those that have been coming here visiting their friends or families like myself for the last 7 years. Ill try to make it as short as possible. I parked my vehicle where i normally would park right in front of the apartment, not to mention that they never have a parking problem. Given on any day, there will be at least 15 parking spots open go pick what you like. 20 minutes later, my car is towed by the RT towing and they charged me $375.00 to get my car back. They are bunch of crooks, that want to take your money. Called the night manager of a towing co, the guy didn't even want to give me the address where the vehicle was, unless he "knew" i was coming the same night. I was told that there is an extra $60 storage fees per day. Later i found out that the office is closed on the weekend, that's why they wanted me to come and pick it up later so they can charge me additional 2 days of storage.
Someone that lives in these apartments told me that the complex manager comes out at night with flash light to check on parking stickers and calls the RT Towing. Long story short, Apartments is contracted with the towing, the manager finds vehicles that are "illegally" parked since its a private property, calls the towing company, they charge $375 for towing and they split the cost. Very shady business. This wont float for a very long time. This is a civil matter, sooner or later your small business will fail! BE AWARE! If you are coming here, go park on the side of the street or at the "visitor" parking.
